As per the last year’s expedition to Jeseníky mountains, we had planned another trip to achieve the Praděd (1491 m) summit — the highest mountain of Moravia and Silesia regions.

We settled in a small hillside village called Ludvíkov with a direct connection to Olomouc by bus.

Bílá Opava

The very next morning, after we made ourselves comfortable and sociable, we had to get up early (around 6 am) to take a brief breakfast and to catch a bus to Karlova Studánka, where the main expedition started.

As we were taking the blue touristic route/track, the ascent hadn’t been that bad and we reached Bílá Opava waterfalls and Barborka points real quickly.
